Progress is still being made… most of the application is done, at least in prototype form, unfortunately it’s not all in one project.
Rather, the whole thing is in lots of little pieces in different ‘clean’ projects to test out the different things… For example there’s a project to upload and download from Flickr, there’s a project to read / write from the database, there’s a project to save images from the camera / photo library, a couple of projects for displaying images and associated metadata…
And of course, there’s still no iPhones… I don’t understand the difficulty in going to the UK Apple Store site, selecting 2x black and 1x white 3GS and pressing the purchase button. Why do people have to complicate things? Just go on the site and buy some iPhones!
Before we decide on a final interface, we want to play with some apps on the iPhone to see what works best with finger-friendlyness, but of course, that isn’t happening…
